Using new technologies for Module 4 assignments-Week 9

What is spring break, wish I knew? I have been one busy person this week. I have been working with my group in trying to create an awesome t-shirt design for threadless.com. My group has been chatting through Skype in trying to find the perfect design that relates to Web 2.0. This has been a challenge to get everyone to meet and we still are missing one team member, but we have to go one. You really need some technology skills to be able to use the application that threadless provides for their template kit. I am fortunate to have the Adobe suite software program that the template kit required to open their templates with. I really like reviewing threadless website and seeing all of the creative design that others have on that site. It seems to strengthen the imagination of what others perceive. I have really enjoy this assignment and I believe that my team has the winning design, well will see.

P.S.
I am posting my template jpeg; let me know what you think about them. I r
eally would appreciate your opinion and thanks.

I like your design. What application do you use to create these? I have had the hardest time trying to get the group I am in together. Some have not responded to numerous requests to meet, so I really do not know how this assignment is going to go for me. I have a couple of design ideas, but nothing as graphical as yours. Nice job!!

Thanks Steve. I use three different program, first I use Microsoft Word and uploaded it as a j-peg and I was able to upload different j-peg on top of my previous photo. After I got what I wanted I made a screen shot of my layout and open infraview (free software program) and copy and pasted the screen shot in. I then crop the shot and save it as a j-peg. Then I used Photoshop 6.0 and open the template that threadless used and inserted the j-peg on top of the t-shirt. Lots of work, put worth it.

In regards to getting your group together. I was having the same problem and we were still missing one person, but our other team members decided to go ahead and met in Skype. Just can't wait forever.

If you need any help, let me know and I will be glad to help you.
